Chili’s….I could eat their chips & salsa for my entire meal. We also really like Lonestar despite being way overpriced, but that’s only because there literally are no local places that make a decent steak. It’s unfortunate, really.
We're ones that prefer to eat at local places, if possible.

Ooooh, my go-to fast food chain is Schlotzky's. I could eat there every day and not get sick of it. In fact, I had their Turkey Bacon Club on sourdough for lunch today.
I don't have the aversion to them some people seem to have, but I also live in an area where local restaurants aren't as common. We have "local chains" As in, the bar i worked at was a part of this restaurant group and the owner was a regular. I won a team contest once and we got to use his lakehouse for a weekend which he stocked with booze and stuff. Restaurants partially owned by Bob Stoops and stuff. BUT, these restaurants can also be found in other states now. Am I making any sense?
Kind of like-Chuy's for Austinites. It started in Austin, but now has spread to like 8 states, but I just don't consider it a "chain" restaurant, but I could be wrong.
Bonefish Grill, while not a huge chain, is really pretty good.
Even though I live in fairly urban area, the only pizza places that really deliver are chains, so I'll get those when I feel too lazy to go pick something up.
And, Chipotle, obvs. There's one very close to my office and I get lunch from there more often than I'd care to admit.
When my mom came and visited me in July all she wanted was IHop. I was like mom, there are so many cool restaurants/brunch places here and you seriously want IHop. So we had IHop and it was HORRIBLE. I may have even had to do a "told ya so" when we left.
I actually don't hate chains either. I don't like going there for dates because the atmosphere usually sucks and it isn't as interesting. But I do LOVE Olive Garden, Outback, Red Robin and PF Changs.

I'll do Texas Roadhouse too, and Cheesecake Factory. I used to like Bertucci's but when I had it recently it was bad. Their rolls are still delish though. I like Chipotle too for a quicky meal.
ETA I forgot PF Chang's. I could eat that shit all day long.

Five Guys Melting Pot
I don't really consider local chains (like, less than 5 locations) chains--we have a bagel place and a pizza place that both have maybe 3 locations each? Love the bagel place. The pizza joint is overpriced but tasty.
