I went shopping on Black Friday and bought myself a TON of new clothes at NY & Co. I did not feel guilty because a) they are all clothes I can wear to work (so, you know, an investment in my career ) and b) I got ridiculously good deals because every single thing in their store was at least 50% off and I also had a coupon for an additional 15% off my entire purchase.
So lots of new clothes is what I gifted myself this year!
Kind of I guess? I've been getting myself to transform my house. Does that count?
Of course!
I usually don't - whether I've been single or in a relationship, but I think it is a great idea. I'm just not sure what to get myself........ maybe a mani/pedi.
Not per se, but I usually pick up a few things for myself while I'm out shopping for others. I've gotten myself a few shirts and some leopard print heels this year. Oh, and a pair of black skinnies.
I usually buy a few things to put under the tree and in my stocking "from santa" for my kids to see. I will be giving myself a Nook, and some small items from B&B works and Victoria's Secret.
I never thought of it until now and I'm totally going to spoil myself with something fabulous! Maybe some new clothes or a beautiful purse or a bunch of new books...decisions, decisions
I usually get myself something from Santa that I wouldn't really buy any other time during the year. Last year it was a laptop, the year before a really nice coach leather purse. This year it is our trip to disney
I don't usually get myself a xmas present but I'm getting a big bonus on the 15th, I might treat myself to a ninety minute massage. My grandparents usually give me $ for xmas so I might use that to buy a new pair of skinny jeans (Hudsons).

I have the last few years, since I don't have a SO. But I always buy myself a birthday present.
This year I bought myself some cognac Steve Madden riding boots online. But I have super fat calves and they don't fit right, so they are going back and I have given up on finding riding boots for my fat legs. Instead I bought some low cut leopard boots and some other various clothes items that I don't really need, but would be great for the Holidays. One thing I'm overly excited about are some workout pants from VS. I desperately need some that hold my jiggly parts in place and don't fall down, etc as I'm working out.
BTW - If anyone has recommendations for some wide calf riding boots, I would much appreciate it! Thanks!
My son likes me to get something from Santa so I got myself the Big Bang Theory trivia game and a journal. Something else too but I forgot and I wrapped it!
I've been working part-time at Macy's (next week is my last week) and I can't even tell you how many people come up to check out and say "I should be shopping for xxx but I'm shopping for me." ha ha
I don't know about all of you but I find it hard to buy really good jewlery for myself. I've never been able to do that except last year I took advantage of sales, employee discount and some other perks Macy's gives employees and got a $500 pearl necklace for $100. I really admire women who come in and buy themselves really nice jewelry. I can never pull the trigger and spend the money - even when I had it to spend.
