I....cannot fathom the kinds of emotions that go through you with a loss, and especially a late term one. But I do not want to see photos of it. Flame away...
Also, I've lurked on other boards too, and this is totally bitchy of me, but I appreciate that everyone here is supportive, but not falsely so.
I.E. so many other boards will have a post that goes, "I just had a full on period, but now I'm nauseous and my boobs are bigger and I cannot stand the sight of food...and I felt the baby implant...so, can I still be pregnant" and the replies are always like, "YES! That four day hemorrhage was just implantation bleeding!!!" and I always kind of go...ummmmmm...the odds are...slim. On that...
Obviously I am an evil biased person, but these boards are awesome for honest (yet non-asshole-ish) answers. And to share the crazy...but not THAT crazy.
I went on this link...there's a teen pregnancy board there, and some of their stories just make me so sad. omg. I cannot imagine being a teen and pregnant...

Oh goodness - I haven't ventured out of the TTC forums there. I focus on the TTC #1 & TTC over 35 forums.

My (twin) sister had her daughter at 16. She struggled a lot but with support of my parents/family she has raised an amazing girl.
My parents made her finish high school.
I truly believe she would be dead right now if she didn't become pregnant as a teen. She struggled with drugs and alcohol and had an abusive bf. (my nieces father, he has tried to harm my sister may times. A few times I thought he was going to kill her)
She stopped the drugs cold turkey the day she found out she was pregnant, thankfully she was only 6 weeks along and there were no lasting effects from the drugs)
My sister is now going back to school to become a nurse now that he daughter is in grade 2. She is living with my parents while she is in school. She is on track to graduate in June! I am so proud of her.
Edit: sorry I turned this into an all about me post!

That's insane! What a situation. It must have been so hard (must still be hard) and I cannot believe that she was only 16 and had been involved in a drug/abusive relationship so already...I feel like I live in a very privileged bubble.
Good for her though, as you said, for finishing school and good for your parents for making her see it through back then as well.
It was a very scary time. A lot of people live in a bubble when it comes to these sorts of things. (to some extent I kinda wish I did)
She and I are both better people because of what we went through when we were teenagers. But I do wish I could have my youth back sometimes as I feel like both her and I missed out on just enjoying those years like other teens got to.
