Thanks all. I took a ton of pics yesterday and will probably take a million more, so I have more than enough to keep up a regular squee post.
When Doggie D was a puppy I was finishing law school and taking the bar. In some ways it was great because I was physically home a lot (to let him out, etc.) but in others it was bad because I was so preoccupied. I'm really looking forward to enjoying Marcy's puppyhood.
I can't remember if you have a name picked out for her already or not. And I've always wondered how people have puppies and work full-time (we adopted our dog when he was 18 months old). Will she have a pee pad or will you be able to take her out during the day?

Calvin & I work about 8 miles from home, so we will take turns going home at lunch time to feed and walk her. We've also (as you might imagine) had offers from friends at both of our jobs that they'd be happy to do a lunch time run to get a puppy fix if we can't one day. I will also probably work from home a little more while she's a puppy.
We are naming her after Mt. Marcy, the highest peak in the Adirondacks.
