How should I go about getting life insurance?

Is the best/most inexpensive way always with a broker? Or should I look into doing it myself? I just want to get the best rate. Looking for term, no more than 250k. I'm 32, non smoker, and a SAHM.

DH already has a policy. I've wanted to get a policy for myself for a long time, but a few years ago the costs for me were too high (at the time I was considered morbidly obese and had some cholesterol issues... both of those things have been resolved).

Please direct me! Is it better to go with an insurance broker, or to just go online and purchase that way?
