I still can't believe that helicopter fell on Romano's head. It seemed rather fitting.
And does anyone remember who called Kerry a bitch? I think it was that Dave dude who got in trouble when Kerry left her pager in the roach coach bathroom. I believe she told him, "No, you work for me so that makes you the bitch, my bitch."
Actually, it was Romano who called Kerry a bitch. Shocking, I know. I LMAO when she told him off but good.
Here's the actual exchange:
Romano: You really are one grade-A bitch, you know that, Kerry?
Weaver: No, Robert, I'm your boss, and as long as I am, you're my bitch. Now get your ass back to work.
HA! That's right.
It was in the middle of that who's the boss, who's not the boss switch up where they couldn't decide who would run the ER.
And some of you are missing the point of this thread which is to DISCUSS these shows.
I watched the shit out of the west wing, btw, right up to the season where Donna got blown up and what's his name was all cute and concerned. Then Donna's stupid albeit really hot boyfriend showed up and ruined all my little hopes.
I was obsessed with Party of Five in high school. One year, I had band practice while it was on, and this was pre-DVR days (and our VCR didn't record...don't ask, long story). So one of my mom's students used to write a synopsis every week and give it to her to give to me.
But I never did see the last episode! I really need to hunt that down someday.
I didn't watch nearly as much of this show as I should have, usually just when it crossed over with L&O and then I'd get pissed off that I missed the Homicide episode it came from/ended with.
I still find it amusing that Brisco slept with Munch's exwife, Gwen.

This is the time where I confess to having written some Party of Five fan fic in my teenaged years.
I never watched West Wing. I've never even seen one episode.
I used to love ER. I feel like the last few years sucked monkey nuts though. I loved Noah Wyle, but I also think IIRC, his character seemed to get ruined towards the end of his run? Yes, no? I can't remember.
I used to live for 90210. I really only like terrible shows, apparently.

X-Files. Despite his complete and utter inability to cry on camera, I love me some David Dochoveny.
X-Files, Buffy, Angel and the first season of Dawson's Creek (that show was worthless after they killed off Abby) all hold a special place in my heart. I watched all of them with friends and fries.
Laurenpetro - I think this is what I'll ask my H for for Christmas. The West Wing dvd collection.
If you have Amazon prime, you can stream all the episodes for free.
I have seen bits and pieces of the West Wing. My husband is obsessed with it, so I've absorbed them over the years. I have enjoyed what I've seen of it, but I haven't ever felt like making an effort to watch from beginning to end.
I used to LOVE Ally McBeal and The Practice, though both fell apart during their last season and were total trainwrecks. I have been rewatching Ally McBeal on Netflix. It's totally ridiculous but also kind of adorable.

I hated his wife. I can't watch anything with Thandie Newton in it without thinking of her sad sack, bitch on wheels ass.
Speaking of wrong, is it wrong that in my head, I refused to accept that Kelly Martin's Lucy died and had her and Carter finally getting together and going off into the sunset together?
Also, I squealed like a little girl on Carol's last episode. Call me the girl who lives in Naivete, USA, but I had NO idea that George Clooney was returning for that cameo. I figured she'd get out of the car, walk to the dock, and it would be Doug - from a distance - with some fill-in and then fade to black. My jaw dropped when assumed-fill in in flannel shirt and boots turned around and it was George Clooney. So so happy.
Gasp at eclaires - 90210 was an AWESOME show!
"I hate you both, never talk to me again." "I choo-choose ME." "Donna Martin Graduates!"
Donna the perpetual virgin. All the men falling over Kelly Perfect Princess Taylor when there was hot-as-hell Valerie Malone in town. Andrea and her unrequited love for Brandon. The Emily and the Ecstasy. I could go on for days.
Oh and remember the other hospital drama that came out around the same time as ER? Chicago Hope. I watched that too.
OMG, let's talk about that.
For one, I had hardcore crushes on Peter Berg and Greg (without Dharma. I remember neither his real name nor his character on Chicago Hope's name.) Can you think of more polar opposite character to want in your sandwich??
Alan/Adam Arkin's wife was a pain in the ass. All that whining and fucking with dude's career and then, what the hell else was she doing? Wasn't she making on Greg at one point? Such a mess.
Why does Christine Lahti always play a bitch? Even in that Lifetime holocaust movie where she played a doctor who did abortions of mengele I think didn't pull at my sympathy heartstrings. So I wasn't surprised when she got a part on SVU and I still wanted to stab her int he face.
Also, I have a love/hate relationship with Mandy Patinkin. I love him. I adore him. But he cannot commit. He does a season or three and then bails like a mofo. And since he's irreplaceable, the show is never the same. Please see Chicago Hope, Dead Like Me, and now Criminal Minds. Boy is lucky he's brilliant.
Designing Women. I watched that so much I know the lines to whole episodes.
Murphy Brown
A Different World
Julia, I do not wear push up bras. If I wore a push up bra, I would not be able to see.
and my favorite line ever, courtesy of Julia Sugarbaker which I will no butcher, "I could not love a man who stopped loving his wife simply because she'd died."

I crushed hard on Brian Austin Green until David cheated on Donna. Apparently, I can't separate actors from their roles. LOL
I didn't even like Donna. I just hated cheaters. GET ANOTHER GIRLFRIEND.
Also, it wasn't until syndication that I realized just how hot Brandon was.
Peter Berg - I <3 him. I don't know why, I just do.
Designing Women is amazing. I admit it, I love Suzanne and love her forever no matter how ridic she is. I used to watch episodes on Lifetime in the afternoons.
