I just bought $200, get $40 free at a restaurant we go to often (regional chain - Zea Rotisserie). Anyone know of any similar promotions at other chains? I'd like to stock up now and save money next year since we are going to eat out anyway.
Outback/Carrabba's, Logan's Roadhouse, Ruby Tuesday, Longhorn Steakhouse, Chili's, Olive Garden.... I think most of the big chains do this now. We even have a few local places that do it as well.
I will never use another Restaurants.com deal again. They are so freaking restrictive that they aren't even worth "80% off".
Oh, good to know! I've never looked into them and now I never will
This varies greatly according to the restaurant. It should list the restrictions on the gift certificate before you buy it. If there is a minimum you have to spend or something like that, just look at the menu (which is linked) and make sure it's within about the range you would need to spend for how many ever people you will be taking with you. They also usually have 90% off sales at some point if you sign up for their e-mails.
