I joined in 2007. I was Puppymommy (switched to SailorGray on TN in 2010, I think) and I now have two boys, 1 and 3 and am a SAHM.

We live in our house we bought in 2008, but are always looking for a new place. It's not like we are actively house hunting, but if a great deal came along, we wouldn't say no. I love our place, but it is getting tight. After the holidays, we are going to start work on a new kitchen backsplash and counter and a basement playroom.

Still living in the same little house. We gutted the bathroom, put on a new roof, put in a new furnace/central air. Most of our work has been paint and decor. Still happily married and working full time in sales (not happily working though).

I joined TN in 07 or 08. Same SN. MM was my regular board. I would sometimes, very occasionally lurk on the D&R board, but at that time we had just gotten our house and barely knew where to start with renovating and decorating was not happening at all.

It's H and I and the dog and we're TTC in 2013 (just H and I will be TTC, not the dog. The dog is single and that's working for him. lol)

I joined the nest in early 2007! I live on a dairy farm with my husband and almost 18 month old daughter. She's fun. I also work part-time in a school working with literal juvenile deliquents and subbing.

I live in a plain, typical house in the country we built when we got married, where our view is to die for and makes up for the lack of "upscale" on the inside. Next on our house list is a sunroom and basement shelving/cabinets for the play room.

We had our son in 2010 and our daughter in 2012. Now we are knee deep in our basement renovation. We are almost done, thank the lord!

I'm TEM325 and was on the TN for awhile after I changed my screenname from the Knot (since 2007) after I got divorced since 2009

I have a home in RI, but I am going to school fulltime at Harvard this year and have a renter looking after my home and I am in a glorified dorm in Cambridge, so I haven't had much going on in terms of the D&R department.

When I head back to working in the fall, my plan is to purchase new living room furniture and a car (we'll see!)

I'm emoflamingo. I've always been me, embarrassing screenname and all. I don't know when I joined D&R but it was probably around 2006 or 2007. Since then, I've had two kids and bought a new house.

We bought a brick ranch in 2010 that was halfway into some upgrades, so we've spent lots of time and elbow grease updating it. We have grand plans to put a screened-in porch on the back and install a fireplace, but those are down the road. Right now, I'd settle for getting the crown molding up in the living room (It has already been purchased - it's sitting in my garage waiting for us to do it. We have done 2 rooms already, but we both just hate doing it SO MUCH - oh well). I have also converted a non-conforming bedroom into a yoga studio in my basement. I posted in the bio post, so you can check out my photos if you like. Nice to meet everyone!

I joined the nest D&R back in 2003 (holycrap has it been that long?) right after I got married. I am 53 and my SN was dianetaylor but when I joined here I changed it to davescatch since I always tell my husband that I am the best catch he ever caught. We love to be on the water in our boat and enjoy life near the Chespeake Bay.

We have a tiny and outdated cape code home built in 1922 that needs so many things done to it, we will never get it all done in our lifetime. We have an almost 4 year old chocolate lab named Indiana Bones Taylor (Indy) and I have a 25 year old son named Jonathan who was and is the best thing I have ever done in my life. He passed away on March 1st when his apartment caught fire, he was found feet from the door. My life will never ever be the same. But I find peace in solitude, esp during this first year while I am making my way thru each painful day. And I rejoice in the loving care of my own personal angel in heaven.

I was on TK planning weddings with/for my two daughters, (hence the knot/nest name TheBridesMom), starting in 2001, and have been on TN forever. I mostly lurked on the decorating board (and have seen it through all of it's names) from the start, giving my two cents worth now and then, but spent the majority of my time on the pets and cooking boards when they added those to the mix. And the crafts board.

Now I pretty much only post on this board, and we are going to be moving across country soon so I am looking forward to finding a new home to decorate, renovate or whatever.

I did the knot first, starting in 2005/2006, then transitioned to TN after my wedding in 2007. It took me a while to delurk there, but after an epic year or so of lurking, I started posting in 2008.

We are currently living in a tiny rental in northern Cali and looking to buy if the right house comes along, although we're happy in our rental (mostly) until that time. We'll be TTC starting in April.

I joined TK, as munkii, in 2008 and moved over to TN when my anniversary board was deleted. I always lurked on D&R but made it my permanent home during the exodus.

My H and I have officially owned our house for 1 year; it's a 1950's ranch with hideous prominent facing garage doors. I mention this because some of you might remember the giant flaming I took for calling prominent facing garage doors tacky on the Real Estate board--very few stood by me. I still stand by that opinion.

We have an almost 3 year old daughter Gigi, who is the epitome of girlie girl, glitter and pink and princess everything- basically my little twin , a townhouse that's up for sale, and a cat and chocolate lab. Oh and my 2nd baby, my boat I bought last summer, which is the reason we are not having anymore kids ;-).
Our house is on the market and we are planning on building our dream house as soon as our th sells. I've been gone for the last 3 years or so just because life got hectic with working full time and G and then with the boat. But I'm back!!!

We have twin two-year-old girls and built our probably-not-forever-but-for-a-good-long-while home just over a year ago. I started on the Knot in 2006 and switched over to the Nest in 2007 after we got married (SN was socal_bride). we bought our house in 2009 and have slowly been changing it to suit our taste. right now we're in the middle of renovating our kitchen. next big projects will be redoing our (only) bathroom and converting our detached garage into a guest house/office/somewhere to have a second bathroom. we'll probably stay here for another 7-10 years before having to get something bigger. we plan to start TTC in 2014. right now its just us and the adorable pups in my sig below.

I started on theknot in 2003. Yes, I am old. I can't remember what my name was back then but I posted until my wedding in 2004. Stopped posting for a while and then started again on the baby boards and money matters when I was pregnant with DS under this SN. Lurked/posted for a while then stopped and started again several times over the years. Never stayed for long because I would always get distracted with life.
I have been posting occassionally on GBCN since this summer. I am a SAHM to 3 kids (DS-6 yrs, DD1- 3 yrs, DD2- 8 mos.). I might be crazy enough to have one more baby but that won't be until summer 2014. DH and I sold our house in August and are waiting for our new house to be built which should be done some time around March. My decorating list for the new house is really long and I am excited to get started.
