This dog is driving me bonkers

She will NOT shut up!

She is walking around the house whining and whining and whining and whining some more. She's a hound, hound whining is obnoxious and high pitched.

I took her out three times so far, she did her business the first. Spent 20 minutes deciding if she wanted to pee a little the 2nd. The 3rd, she just wanted to sniff the ground for the mother effin' cat outside. She has TWO cats indoors, WHY is this outdoor cat SO much more interesting?!

I'm going to assume she is whining because the neighbor dog has come back home after 6 months and he's her best friend for life. But dude, how do I shut her up? I don't want to keep taking her out because I do NOT want her to get it into her dog head that "cool, every single little whine gets me outside. awesome!"

I feel your pain! My little dog whines all the time. She'll whine for food, to go outside, if she can't find the bigger dog, if she wants to play. OMG JUST SHUT UP!!!
