This Married to the Sea comic from yesterday sums up people on The Bump 4ever:
I haven't actually been there yet today, so I have nothing to judge. Surely you do though?
This office is d.e.a.d. I have four tasks to complete this week. I am already taking Friday off (and heading to Seattle sans enfant for the night to see Louis CK!). I may end up just taking Thursday off too.

I can't handle the Bump.
I'm bummed today. DH and I decided to make an offer on a house, and we looked at it for the second time on Sunday. Well, I logged into the MLS system this morning and it appears that the house is under contract. I contacted our REA and she confirmed that it went under contract LAST NIGHT. Ugh. I'm so sad because I totally pictured us in this house and there are no other decent houses on the market right now.

My OB just called and switched my appt from next Fri to next Thurs. So she moved it a day. Apparently she got called to go out of town for some reason. She's a solo practioner so without her, I see no one, lol. Whatevs, just a 16 week check up anyway.
DH is home sick. I'm sitting at work debating if I'm coming down with the same junk.
Speaking of junk, its getting waxed today and I'm scared its going to hurt more because I'm KU.
I am wearing the oxymoron of skinny jeans on a pregnant (not skinny to start with) person. But I wanted to be able to wear my cute boots so I ordered them off Gap's sale last week for 25 dollars and don't care if they probably look ridiculous!
BLT - I got waxed on Saturday for the first time since I got pg. I'd been doing it every six weeks for a year or two but was petrified it would be killer while pg and it really wasn't bad at all! It had been at least four months and I had shaved a few times too so I was basically starting over and it still wasn't bad. GL!
Oh thank God. I always know that it hurts worse the week before AF so I always scheduled around it. So paranoid me did the same thing as you and just avoided it thus far and shaved. But eventually I'll be too big to shave so I want to get back in the habit! Now I'm kind of excited for Operation Bush Be Gone!

Thanks, ladies. I keep telling myself that we'll find something we love, but I regret not acting sooner. I keep thinking of this quote from When Harry Met Sally: "I'm saying that the right man for you might be out there right now, and if you don't grab him, someone else will, and you'll have to spend the rest of your life knowing that someone else is married to your husband." Someone else is living in my house!
My OB called yesterday, I called back, and we've been playing phone tag all day. So I finally got them on the phone at 4:45 (they close at 5) and they apparently forgot to take a vial of blood at my appointment yesterday for my antibody screening. They wanted me to go to a lab to have it done tomorrow.
No bueno. The lab opens at 7:30, I usually am at work by 7, and if I did that I wouldn't be there until 9. THEN they'd have to bump my appointment from Thursday evening to Friday morning because they need 48 hours for the antibody results to come back, and they close at 12 on Friday. So I'd be late to work THREE days this week. I initially agreed, then I got annoyed and called back and told them I was THREE MINUTES from the office, can I JUST GO IN RIGHT NOW. They didn't really want to do it, they were already closed... but they agreed. So I had it done and I don't have to be late to work THREE times this week.

Are you in Houston? That's how things were for us - we made 4 offers in a week and lost out on 3 of them. One of which the sellers came back, we agreed to a price after a few counter offers and while deciding on closing date, they went silent overnight and told us they'd accepted another offer the night before. Annoying as fuck.
But another one came through and I'm in the new house now! It has pluses and minuses compared to the other house, but at the end of the day, it worked out for us. I hope the same happens for you!
Wow, I would have been so mad! Glad you found something that works for you. We are in San Antonio. I'm hoping that the market picks up after the holidays.

This terrifies me. We're moving there next month and have 3 months to find a house and close and get moved in. I don't know if we can do it!

It can be done- from our offer to moving in was less than 2 months and it could have been a bit faster. It just depends on how picky you are with houses. Flexibility is key.
Ditto this, we're in a different area, but from making an offer on the house we bought (second house we offered on) to closing was 28 days. I was amazed at how fast our mortgage broker was able to get the appraisal and financial documentation in place!
Ok well that makes me feel a little better. I've been looking at houses for months online so I think I have a good idea of what I want. Good luck urban!!

I bought myself 2 pairs to wear with the cute boots my mom got me for christmas. They were from motherhood maternity, so way too expensive, but SO comfy! Not like real skinnk pants at all. (I was only going to get 1 pair, but they were so comfy I called my hubby and told him he got me pants for christmas)
