I got a juicer two Saturdays ago for a gift. This morning the motor stopped running. I have no receipt and no box. I called the store and the lady I spoke I said bring it in. I made sure she knew that I didn't have the box. She said bring it in a bag.
I know they are good with returns, but are they really that good? No receipt, no box, just the machine? The person who bought it is giving me a copy of her bank statement just in case, so they can see its the same price. I really thought I was SOL. I hope they replace it. I love that thing.
Yes, they are really that good. I've returned two things like that. A steam mop and an electric can opener. Both used, no box, no receipt because they had stopped working. I got an even exchange on the can opener and store credit for the steam mop because they were no longer selling the exact model I had, but it was for full price. I felt awkward about it both times, but it was really no big deal at all to them!
Yes, we brought back our Roomba, it stopped working a little more than a year after purchasing. No box, no receipt, and they exchanged it, no questions asked. This is one reason I prefer to make appliance purchases either there, or Costco.
YES. They are awesome. We got a bottle opener as a wedding gift and it broke a month after we got it. We happened to mention it when we were in store and they told us to bring it back. It never would have occurred to us to try to return it. But we did, no packaging, no receipt. They were awesome. I'd actually buy things there even if they are more expensive just for this reason.

Yes, BB&B is amazing. We returned a vacuum twice when it stopped working (pet + human hair was too much for it, even though it was supposed to be great for that). The second time, they allowed us to put the money toward a different brand of vacuum.
