I love it! I would post my budget, but we don't have one and H's salary is so different month to month that it wouldn't really be useful. Plus we are spending lots of money on our new construction so it would be very skewed. Once we are in the house and have a set budget, I will definitely share!
Thank you everyone for sharing, I am a few years younger than some of you and the income numbers are encouraging. Sometimes I feel like we don't make enough, but we are only four years into our careers. These numbers give me hope. I will share our numbers when I am home and can access them.
And I feel like a hypocrite for not contributing but I honestly have no idea what our monthly details are and would have to go home and put it all together. Flameful?
I feel the same way. I would be guessing at too much if I tried to post a budget. I don't know how everyone seems to have their numbers at their fingertips. I do know our big picture numbers, but I am kind of hesitant to post that for a variety of reasons.

Probably very stupid of me, but my budget spreadsheet is on my work computer, lol.
Sadly, I realized that budgets aren't that interesting to me
I do take home pay amounts interesting (though I would also like to see what the gross pay is for those who didn't provide it), and I find housing costs interesting.
Also, I realized by looking at budgets that I would be a complete failure in making one because like 3/4 of the things listed that apply to me I was like "Oh yeah, I forgot that I spend money on that."
I would be much more interested in seeing net worths
I don't know how everyone seems to have their numbers at their fingertips.
I am at home on break.
v, HOW CAN IT NOT BE INTERESTING? lol. I love seeing how people prioritize their money. I agree though that I also love to see net worth and gross pay.

I think there are just too many apples to my oranges. Like cars (we have one of those, and I'd assume it costs something to maintain/use, but I have no idea because I like to pretend it doesn't exist) and daycare and mortgage interest and property taxes and groceries and such -- I don't know how to compare them to the things that I probably spend money on that others don't (I guess Metrocards and doorman tips and cabs come to mind, but they're all very small amounts in the grand scheme of life). So I think I just can't relate to budgets of people who aren't JUST like me in the same way that I can relate to a net worth amount or a salary or the like?
