Of course, just my opinion. I have lots of friends who love SAH.
DH took a long business trip to China (3 weeks), it was nuts and during that time going into work and getting my head around my clients and not being a single mom was so liberating. And now that he's back, he took four weeks off and since I am working this week, he's doing the SAH dad gig and it's heavenly. He's been cooking dinner, cleaning the house, getting the kids ready.
I love holiday parties but not all of them and he spent three hours at the school yesterday, met them for lunch on Monday, volunteered for mystery reader last week for me and is now with both of them at swim team while I sit on my computer having a drink and doing absolutely nothing.

That's great that he was able to take 4 wks off, enjoy having all that extra help around the house. And kudos to you for making it through his 3 week business trip, my house starts to descend into mild chaos when DH is gone for a 1 wk conference, I don't think I could do it!

thanks but you'd surprise yourself. I'd never say it's easy, I just learn to deal with the chaos and we eat out a lot. It also helps that I work 20 hours, I can get my errands done while they are in school and have some time to veg on the couch. It was harder when he traveled and the kids were in preschool.
