We got the results from all of her labs (blood tests and spinal tap), and they were all clear which lead her doctor to believe that the seizure was caused by her high fever. At this point her neurologist doesn't think there's a reason to adjust her meds, but she will reevaluate in a month when I have to drag her back for another EEG.
I am so relieved that she's okay and ready to come home after 5 long days. And her nurses have been wonderful and they brought her Christmas presents this afternoon. She got a stuffed horse, a keyboard, and a phone which she loves and calls baby.
I need to get something together for them to say thank you.

"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
Glad to hear she's ok! I didn't read the original story but it sounds like she had a febrile seizure (Fever induced seizure)? My DD had one 2 days before her 1st birthday and I was in hysterics. For 10 mins she had one seizure after another and at one point the paramedics overdosed her on anti seizure meds so she stopped breathing in the ER. WORSTDAYOFMYLIFE. But after all was said and done I didn't realize how common they were until I started doing research on them.
Just curious though, why did they do a spinal tap? I would have flipped my shit if they did a spinal on my baby. Not clear on your circumstances but I'm just floored that they had to do that. Does she have a history of seizures?

She does. She had her first seizure about 7 months ago, and she has been on meds since then.
They did the spinal to rule out any virus since she also had a high fever. This particular seizure lasted around 14 minutes and didn't stop even after she was given diastat so that caused a concern.

Makes sense then. Poor thing. Spinals are the worst!
re: spinal tap, Anna had one at 6 days old. I almost died. She was fine, but it was the worst thing ever for me. Well, they didn't do it in front of me, I was hysterical in a different room. They do them often on young kids to rule out meningitis I think (I am no doctor and that was 5 years ago).

That's exactly why they did it. And I didn't see them do the spinal either. I wouldn't have been able to handle that.
