...that would be totally squashed by a bfp.
I am in negotiations for a really, really great role.
I am due for a potential BFP in another week and a half.
I am so eager for both at this moment but like in Harry Potter, "neither can live while the other survives" (any other HP nerds?) so I know it's one or the other, which sucks, but I feel certain I will flip the eff out if I get neither in the end.
It's not that kind of a job. If it were a teaching/choreo gig it would sooo not be an issue.
But it's a performing gig, booked 5 months ahead. So I am sure I'd be visibly pregnant by the time the show went up. Which would not work for this particular role.
Yes, oh absolutely! The meeting isn't til after the holidays actually, but I had a phone negotiation today which was great. But even so, if I get a bfn this cycle, and I get a bfp in the next one, I would still be showing, no?? I mean, I'd have to drop the role.
I'm just...whining mostly at the thought of not having AT LEAST one or the other. I want a bfp. I want the gig. But if I get neither...I will pout severely!!
And if I get a bfn only to get a bfp soon after, dropping the role would be...really unfortunate. It's a great gig for me, with a company I love. But I wouldn't have a choice, and fortunately it wouldn't burn bridges. I don't think...
I'd take the role, then if you get BFP this cycle or next, drop the role. I wouldn't wait until you start showing, because that would decrease the amount of time they'd have to find a replacement.
