Sophie is 15.99 at drugstore.com. If you have discover you can 5% cash back until Dec 31st and I think drugstore.com is still 15% cash back at shop discover.
Ahhh do I get the RnP or not? With me being out on bed rest and therefor my leave starting early we're really trying to watch our spending. We live in a tri-level split house and have 2 pack and plays (one for baby to sleep in for awhile in our room and one with a changer and stuff for living room), have two bouncers and a high chair that reclines back. Do I really NEED to get the RnP?? What do you all think?
Oh and then obviously have a crib for her to sleep in eventually in her room at night.

spk I adore the RNP. We take it with us on overnights and he naps in it a lot. It goes everywhere in the house-even the bathroom when I shower. I will probably cry when he grows out of it (probably will be soon.)
Our neighbors and great friends just announced their pregnancy to us on Tuesday after trying for almost two years. I'm so, so excited for them and have to resist buying everything.
Don't you love Baby Cheapskate . I've saved and spent a ton of money because of that blog and Facebook posts lol.

Ditto. DS loved loved the RnP. He watched me cook, we watched TV while he napped in it, in the bathroom like jp. We traveled with it, it's GREAT for that. I did cry when he grew out of it at 4 months (DS is huge). I have it stored in his room and I still miss it.
DS got his first tooth at 4 months (!!!!) and loved Sophie from about 4-8 months. Now at 10 months he picks her up sometimes. But he prefers the cheap $3 water ring teethers from Target you can put in the fridge ::shrug::
Okay fine, you all convinced me. I bought one. Now I hope she likes it. We now have two bouncy seats and a RnP but no swing. Maybe I'll just buy one off craigslist when she gets here!
question about the RNP, can baby sleep safely in it while swaddled and not have to use the harness system? or is too much of an incline for that? we have a bouncy seat that is too much of an incline and he has to be unswaddled to use and then he won't sleep.
we swaddled in it up to about 5 months when we switched to sleep sacks. Never used the harness as she showed no interest in rolling whatsoever and still can't roll back to front
Sophie was well loved in our house. I am sad we lost her during one of our walks somewhere. I'm sending Sophie to a few friends and buying an extra for our house. lol.
Sophie is also available new from another seller on Amazon, free shipping, for about $12. $15 is a decent deal, but not amazing or unusual. I think I bought a two-pack through Amazon for ~$25 last spring.
