I was so not expecting this. Especially this late. Our agency head finally gave in and announced the admin leave for Monday about 2:30pm yesterday (way late for her). Guess he decided that if Congress went home, we could, too.

Woohoo! I was taking the day off anyway, but I'm pretty low on leave so this is a welcome surprise.

So Monday is my work from home day. I'm also in the middle of constructing something for work that requires my sewing machine (long story). I spent about 4 hours on it last Sunday, but I was planning on finishing it while teleworking on Monday. Unfortunately, I need to have it finished by Wednesday, so I guess I'm going to finish it up on Monday anyway. And, really, I'm getting paid for the time either way. Just means I get to sew without having my email up at the same time lol

And, that when I finish (should be another hour), I can move on to personal projects
