We are getting our stuff ready to leave tomorrow... and I'm pairing that with some wine. I won't drink too much since we have to get up early and will have a looong day in Asheville and at the Biltmore.
I opened a bottle of Pinot Noir I got as a gift from a coworker. It's gross.
Also, when I went out a few weeks ago I ordered an Old Fashioned in an attempt to have a more serious drink order as advised by MM. That was gross, too.
I'm just going to stick with Mike's HL and fruity cocktails from now on.

LOL, yeah. Stick with fruity martinis and stuff. That's what I do (when not pg).
I am jealous. I am on the Megabus right now and totally regretting my holiday travel plans. The bus was late and I wish I was sitting at home with a beer! Please enjoy one for me.

No, no, no. Take it from a fellow fruity drink lover (unless it's beer, lol). Old fashioned = yuck unless you're over sixty and from WI or MN. Fruity martinis, flavored vodka and sprite, rum and coke = YUM.
DH and I are enjoying our anniversary with whiskey and soda in base lodging on our last night in town before we fly to Paris for the holidays with my family. We'll end up back in the area here for about 60 hours after the Paris trip before we fly to South Korea.
All of our household goods are packed up and about half are being sent to Korea, the other half are being stored by the army for the next 2-3 years.
We sold his truck today, as the army will only ship one vehicle to Korea for us, and my car is our newer and smaller vehicle.
Not much of an anniversary, but the trip to Paris should be fun!
i'm finally home with my first beer! hip hip hooray!
i am also finished hosting my 6th christmas party of the year! that's not counting events where i just attended. i need a new life that doesn't involve so many social commitments, i'm too introverted for this.
