So I started getting fertile CM again on CD15 & CD16 (more so than my last fake out around CD9 & CD10). Then on the CD16 on a got a positive OPK and on CD17 I got my darkest OPK to date. Today the lines are still similar in color, but getting lighter. My problem is my fertile CM stopped on the CD16. Today my temp dipped, but still very little CM. Am I just gearing up again without an O?

You don't HAVE to have fertile CM. How are you checking your CM? Today's temp could be an O dip and you could O today. Unfortunately, you have to wait 2 or 3 days to be sure.

I agree with donuts, the dip today and the positive opks look good for ovulation. You may just think about having sex every other day until o becomes clear on your chart for your first month. Do you have any cramping? I always think I'm going to miss o but I have so much cramping that I would know when I o'ed even if I didn't chart. Not everyone cramps though. Of course none of these signs except for temp are reliable.
Ugh...I think I overdid it today, DH & I were running around getting stuff for xmas dinner @ our place. When we came home had a beer and some pizza and bd'ed. Right after that we took a hot bath. When I got out of the bath I felt super nauseous and felt like I was going to pass out. I started to feel better once I cooled down & drank water, but it was not fun Think I scared DH. Is this normal around O?
I am calm, I am just trying to figure out my cycles and trying to learn what's going on & worried about ovulation. Sorry for all the questions. My sister had a really tough time getting pg and she miscarried w/her first pregnancy so since then I've had some anxiety this could happen to me even though I know it's not hereditary.
I know, I just have a million questions running through my head and really not many people to ask. I really never paid attention to my cycles before BC, I just knew I got my period every month and bad cramps, so this is all new too me and I am an overachiever who wants to know everything all at once. (which is really not possible) I am also not telling anyone yet we are TTC and I just figured you guys know way more than I do and could maybe clue me in before I spend months spinning my wheels.
Don't hesitate to ask questions. I was like you, too -- I read tcoyf before we had even decided to ttc. If you haven't read that yet, you need to -- it'll be right up your alley! To answer your question, I have never had nausea or dizziness at O and don't think it is a symptom. It's likely a coincidence from overdoing it and perhaps dehydration?
I will say that bcp often can increase blood pressure, which could mask naturally low bp. When I came off bcp, I had dizzy spells a few times a day and passed out once. That made me go to the doc, where I learned I have low bp. As long as I take my vitamins and drink enough water, I am fine, but I likely never would've known about it if not for coming off of bcp.

There is nothing crazy about trying to understand your body! We all have different personalities-- some like to ease into something and others like to learn everything at once. I like to have as much information as possible so I understand where you are coming from.
To answer your question, dizziness and nausea can both be progesterone symptoms. I get nauseous after o and I had dizziness before AF last cycle. It worried my DH and maybe caused him disappointment because it can also be a pg symptom.
