Anyone in Central MA with kids in daycare?

I'm 14 weeks along and starting to think about child care. We are in the Leominster area and will have one infant. We'll start calling around but I'm looking for general rates to expect and recos from anyone with kids in the area. TIA!

I'm not in Leominster so I don't know what's around you but I would look into kinder care. They are all over the place. I pay 313.00/ week for preschool. I imagine tuition would be different for infants but it might be a good jumping off point.

Hi there,

I live near Leominster (Gardner).  Didn't know there were so many locals on the board.  I found a lady who does in-home care I really liked called "First Friends".  I didn't end up using her because we needed something in-town because our 4 year old has an IEP.  I looked at a few during the adoption process, and she stuck out as being very nice, and very homey.

I work next to a place called Piccolo Mondo if you are looking for center-based care, and many of my co-workers use it and love it.

Yes!! I didn't realize there were so many Central MA people on this board.  I have been MIA and came back with a new name.  I am originally from South Shore area, but went to college at Fitchburg State and never left.

I went to McKay for elementary school. My husband graduated from Fitchburg State.

Im not sure where in Lunenburg you are but I checked out a daycare in Lunenburg and it was great. It was homeday and it was in my top 2 when i just looking for my child. let me know if you want more info on it.
