Given: gave Dad a new TV Gave DD a dollhouse that she's been talking about for months. She just stared at it this morning with her mouth open. It was awesome.
Received: DH gave me a spa gift certificate. Told me he's hiring a car to take me into the city, and I can spend the day there. Alone. With no kids. Yay!
Given: Mumford & Sons tickets (bc I get one lol). Or the photo book of my baby photos to dad. I expect he is going to cry. But sadly, I called before he opened gifts (they were waiting on my step-sister), and he hadn't called back
Gave: a HUGE bear to DS. It was really stupid of us to buy it, as we live in a small house & a 55 inch bear takes up alot of space. But it is totally worth it bc DS loves it so so much. Just jumps on it & kisses it all the time. Received: nothing, I didn't get anything I even liked a little. I am kinda bitter. Lol
Gave: really pretty pendant necklace for my sister. I wasn't looking for another gift, but I saw it in the case and thought out was perfect. She loved it!
Received: KITCHENAID MIXER!!!!!!! I'm so fucking excited!!!

Gave: A nice wooden watch to my mom is a tie with a cool scarf I found on Etsy for my sister
Received: I got a lot of things that are nice to have (like Pitch Perfect on blu-ray, silicone muffin pans), but nothing that I was excited to receive. FI and I won't exchange presents until we get home though, and he usually does a really good job finding something I love but never thought to ask for
I gave my Dad a framed picture of him and his friend who passed away in May. He told me it made his day and had the biggest grin on his face. That was definitely the best gift I gave!

We live on a postage stamp size piece of property in suburbia, so we only have a one car garage. The Porsche goes in there, and my CRV is always in the driveway. I am SO excited that I can now warm the car up before stepping outside. It's going to be life changing!
