I'll go for that! Like Candide, it's another one I read in 10th grade.
True story: At some point I wanted to name Baby Fuss Silas, but H vetoed it owing to the fact that it was the name of his parents' dog they had when they were first married. Then I had to admit that it was in fact a better dog name than a baby name.
I've also always wanted to read Tristram Shandy . . .
I held onto Middlemarch for years before finally admitting my failure that I was never going to read it.
I did read Tristram Shandy in 10th grade too. I so wanted to enjoy its absurd and "edgy" ramblings, but in reality it was just kind of a slog. May have needed opium to make sense or something.
