Anyone doing anything fun? H and I have no plans yet. A few options, but we both have to work and can't decide if we want to go out or just relax and stay in. A friend invited us to go with them to Salsa Boston's Club Caribe party at the Cambridge Marriott, but if it is really crowded, I'll probably hate it.
I'm no help - planning on staying home and looking forward to it! FI has to work and I don't really feel like hanging out at his restaurant waiting for him.
I'm planning on making myself a nice dinner and drinking some champagne! :drink:

We usually stay home, but since we hosted my in-laws for Christmas day, I don't feel like making a big dinner again. So we booked dinner at the Cellar in Cambridge for their NYE menu. We booked the early seating (5 pm), so that we can get home and off the roads before the real crazies are out. We've got a bottle of champagne that we'll drink when we get home, and will probably be asleep by 11 pm.
My NYE is pretty much a normal Saturday night in that the majority of my friends and I go to our regular Harvard Sq pub, just all dressed up. It's about 20 people and the place is tiny so we generally take it over. Then there is usually an after party at a nearby friends and then sometimes a trip to the 24 hour IHOP in the Sq. We've been doing this for about 8 years. Not too exciting but fun and close to home
This sounds so perfect. We'll be renting a movie if I can stay awake long enough to watch it.
