Here are my two babies (chi and Pom) and my dad's dog Bea Bea(the black Pom). For those of you who remember, Bea Bea has cancer and is on a medication to prevent it from spreading. She's doing well and isn't showing any bad signs yet. I'm still holding out hope that she will pull through.

Aww so cute!
My babies Possibly one of the 2 girls on either side (boy is already claimed) - Her DH just told me he wants to charge me 200 for one - the are selling them for 500. But we can make payemtns.
bam, those have always and forever been some of my favorite pictures ever posted on the nest. <3
that is sweet - thank you. I was really looking forward to version 4 oh well.
Your dog is so beautiful! What breed is he?
<3 He is Australian Shepherd, according to the shelter and the vet. He may have some other things in him, but he has the classic Aussie characteristics. Thank you!!

My son wants a "shepherd" so bad. even wants to name him, Shepard. lol. how original.
exh is not cool with German's b/c he said that while they can be amazing and protective... those qualities can take a lot of training and a very secure Alpha in the home. Alpha I am not... so I will listen to him.
But the Austrailian could be a good idea. Is he good with kids? Can I just have him? lol. j/k.

So one thing to know about shepherds, is they really need a job. Walter thinks his job is to protect me at all times. It can get a little weird, but he also had some issues when he came from the shelter. For example, if ex-bf and I even HUGGED, he would come run up and like nudge us. And I refer to him as the fun police because you cannot have fun around him (clap, dance, laugh really loud) or he will nip you to get back in line. I have been to a LOT of training with him and it's just impossible to break him of his instincts to keep things in order. So I have to be careful with him. Now I'm not saying this is the case with all shepherds because I'm pretty sure he was abused, but it can be something to be concerned about. I don't know that I would trust him around kids without a very watchful eye. A lot of people have aussies as family dogs, though, with no issues. I think he just had too much of a history prior to me.
