Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!
Per month? Haha. We don't have one. I go months without buying clothing for myself. DH buys himself a new pair of dress shoes when his wear out. The boys get new clothes fairly regularly, but we don't really care about buying for ourselves much. I am going to try to put a bit more effort into it this year though.
My spending is very uneven, because it depends on the month. Some months I only buy a few things, but at the beginning of spring and fall I tend to buy a lot.
I don't know what the total or average is though, nor do I want to know Definitely more than $300 a month for me. (But definitely less than that for my husband). Clothes, shoes, and bags are a big indulgence for me.
I hate to admit it, but my DH and I average more than $300 a month on clothes. He doesn't buy as frequently as me, but when he does, it's expensive, because he's buying nice shoes, suits, ties (nice meaning designer).
Me, I love clothes, and if I could justify it, I would spend more no doubt. But I try to exercise restraint as much as I can.
We are trying to cut back this year though, so we'll see.
Um none of the above. H and I each get 100 a month of fun money. Clothing is included, as are things like golfing or books or music or eating lunch out or any purchases not in the budget.
Your options more closely reflect our annual budget.
This!!
(I can't actually see the poll but if there isn't an <$100 option then :/)
I spent $40 on a dress and leggings today and that's more then I spent in the last 6 months on clothing. (I only spent that because I got a $50 gift card to that store.)

Really varies some months zero, others $1k+. I usually buy twice a year big shop and supplement a piece here or there if something comes up or wears out. I hate store shopping for clothing because nothing fits, if I find stuff online that fits, I'll get it in different colors/styles. When I was working I was allowed to wear nice jeans to work most of the week. If we had people coming through or meetings it was a bit more dressy, suits were rare-TV land, main building meetings, or higher ups.
DH the same thing, if we are replacing dress shirts it goes quick if he just needs some summer stuff not much. DH wears button down shirts, varies between jeans and dress pants on what he needs to do at work that day. Has a few days he has to toss on a suit. It usually comes out of the misc extra money that would get tossed in savings at the end of the month.
We each get $200 a month for personal spending, clothing generally comes out of that.
Honestly, we don't do a good job of sticking to budget, but that's our "budget". We're making a change ASAP and I have a feeling our clothing budget will be $0 for a while - we have plenty to last us a while and need to cut back on spending in general!

Our budget is about $150 combined. DH likely spent about $500. I personally spent about $2K for this year, and that does not include GC purchases. The overage gets taken out of my fun money.
It's definitely a lot this year, (v. $1700 last year), mainly because of my interview wardrobe. And basically supplementing my wardrobe for the job that I want and hope to get.
I doubt it will be a lot less in 2013. But I'll try to curb it, considering I got some of the basics out of the way this year.
Yeah, I'm with the people who said this looks more like an annual budget... our budget has $500 each for the year. If needed something like a coat might come from a separate line, and maybe $100 to $200 might come as gifts.
