I've liked several of her other recipes too. I especially like that she uses basic ingredients since often I can't get the more unique things that I could easily find in the US, but that probably isn't an issue for most of you guys.
I never really followed her blog and if her show is on I'll usually watch it for a few minutes to see what she is making. I watched an episode today where she was making food to bring to her potluck at church. I pinned the recipe for the green bean casserole because it seemed good and stayed away from cream of mushroom soup.
I do agree that she is super awkward but I look past it with the rationalization that she is really just a regular person. I like to drool over her recipes more than I like to make them because I try to cook healthier than that for the most part.
Her vegetable lasagna is amazing, and I make her chicken soup (but add egg noodles) at least twice a month. The one with the parsnips is so good and so simple.
I liked her blog years ago, before she had 10 ghostwriters for it.
The show is almost unwatchable. She's terrible as a tv host. No personality. I know Rachael Ray isn't everyone's cup of tea, but at least she has some energy and can tell a story.
