Seriously. Just last night I decided against shaving my legs because it would take a whole 5 minutes out of my evening. Shaving my entire nether regions? No. I tried it a few times and DH said he didn't like it anyways, so not worth my time.
See, I assumed the opposite. MMers have the dough for laser hair removal & waxing. MLers can be kinda prudish, despite how frequently poop & vaginas are discussed.

I just locked the kids out of the bathroom and tidied up out of guilt after reading that. I don't think DH really cares, though. When I was pg both times he said he'd help keep things trimmed down below and he never did.
i don't go over there but can figure out what the talk is about by this post --- and I can say, as someone about to turn 40, the anti-crotch hair phenomenon is a younger women thing... thanks to porn being so easily accessible to everyone - and shaved vag being very common in porn - I think the younger generation of women feel they NEED to be clean shaven down there- or their men will hate it.
When I was a teen nobody shaved it all off! Then as i got into my 20s it became the new fad... I still never did it- i thought it was odd and looked like a little girl, which thankfully, my boyfriend was not into. My husband also does not think a fully shaven bush is attractive.... but i'd be willing to bet more men in their 20s think it is.
Also, every time I'm like "I should try out ML! They seem fun over there!" there's a post about drinking at work and they show themselves to be maybe even more pearl clutching than MM.
So I am confident in my choice of boards -- I just wish it was more active over here lately!

I could never get turned on for a guy who cared how my pubes were kept. I tend to date (and I married) guy(s) with lots of testosterone who didn't give a shit how it looked and were just happy to be there. In my mind, those are real men, not those "ew ew go shave it" guys. Yuck. Probably flammable, everyone is entitled to a preference, but that attitude towards sex/vaginas doesn't work for me personally.
I have run the gamut with how it has been kept and I settled with beard trimmer. DH calls it "putting green," but he doesn't have a serious preference.
I just read the pubic hair thread. It is VERY bizarre to me that people are getting judgmental about what other women are doing with their hair down there. If you're not going to see it, why do you care??

some of the posts in this thread are just as sexist/heteronormative/eye-roll worthy as the ones we're twisting our panties over. "real" men are defined by grooming preferences? 99% of men just need to be near a vag?
I didn't see the original thread so I may be missing something but I don't get why so many people are making this about their husbands/boyfriends/SO. I do wax, almost completely, but I do it for me, just feels cleaner and looks nicer and I like it. My husband doesn't care, he is not the reason why I wax.
I'll be the lone dissenter, lol. My husband prefers it waxed so that's what I do. Would he stop having sex with me? No, but I don't think it's weird for him to have a preference and me to indulge that.
That said, I could give a shit what anyone else does. How weird to care.
I'm with you. And hey, I prefer when my husband grooms a bit down there too.
But I also prefer it for me too -- I feel cleaner, I don't have to worry about wearing a bathing suit, I think it looks better, and I feel more during sex.
Oh, and I will admit that I went for an "extended bikini" rather than full Brazilian lasering because I was concerned that Brazilians are trendy now but will go out of style before I die.
I still may go for the full deal someday though. I hate having any hair down there.
I just asked my husband if he thinks I should get the rest of my hair lasered. He said "No -- When you're like 90 years old and in the hospital, won't you want to have a little something there?"

I still may do it. I DEPEND ON ME!
Sad news: most women lose their pubic hair when they get old. You'll only have a few straggly hairs! I vote laser it off.

Me too. I'm getting "The Full Monte" laser hair removal done in Feb. I hate the chore of shaving down there but we both prefer it much better when it's clean and smooth.
