Morning! This weekend ended up being pretty busy! High: I have eaten yummy food. Low: DH had a 3-day weekend and I have a a 5-day. I miss him! And...he gave me some "jobs" to do since I am home.
Highs: Lots and lots of food, parties, and drinking Lows: I ended up napping most of yesterday and ultimately didn't sleep well at night (boo hoo, right? )

High: Getting to spend some quality time with my mommy!
Low: Having to take my childhood dog (we got him when I was 16) to the vet because of a ruptured cyst. Yes, it's a gross as it sounds! But he'll be okay.
Lows: Rain, rain and more rain Highs: Rain, Rain and more rain, we really needed the rain down here I got to reconnect with a friend and hang out with another, I love girl time! I got to be really lazy!
High: we went skydiving this weekend for the first time. My hubby turns 30 next month and this was his present. He loved it and so did I. I can't wait to do it again, it was one the most amazing experiences of my life.
Low: a cork popped out of a bottle of my wine and spilt all over the new china cabinet. I'm glad we were home so we could clean it right away. Just hoping the veneer doesn't come off and we protected as much as we could.

Yay for skydiving! That is so exciting, I am glad you loved it! :Y: I want to do it again eventually but somewhere else and with different people than the one time I went.
Also, I am not sure if it's considered a high or a low but the H terrifed my bestie's child with the water hose (sort of by accident, he didn't know she would be scared). It was really funny to the adults, but the child was so traumatized that she refused to go back out in the backyard the rest of the time we were there. haha, whoops, just another reason why we may be unfit to reproduce!

That sounds like so much fun, I'd love to do it someday but am afraid I'll freak out at the door and not want to jump!
Anyhoo, my highs were sleeping in 2 of the 3 days, going swimming yesterday and eating lots of good food.
Low was eating too much of that good food and getting a belly ache

Good morning!
OPS, I'm glad you opted for highs/lows instead of a recap...My weekend all ran together!
High: Our neice chose to come see us and the rest of our family instead of spending Memorial day with her mom's family! She is such a sweetheart! Also, the family actually caught some fish this weekend which is what H was looking forward to.
Low: BIL (the asshole mentioned in "Open letters" letters last week) was a dick, just as I expected. I had to call him out for flat out refusing to give their mother's truck keys to H who needed to move it to make room for another truck. He just kept saying, "Hey have you seen the movie, Movie nobody cares about?" Oh and also there was drama over the camper.

High: Spending time with friends. Low: Having a look weekend off and then coming back to work. But I have to only work 3 days because I have to take Friday off.
High: I spent almost the entire weekend with DH (he only had to work a half day yesterday)
Low: It was so super hot and muggy that we only ended up spending about an hour and a half at our pool which opened this weekend. It was partly cloudy so we were dumb about not using sunscreen. Both DH and I got a bit sunburned. I'm fine but DH is the biggest baby and has drove me nuts since Sunday afternoon about his red tummy.

Weekend was good.
Where to begin:
High,
went to the shore on Sat. and started to work on our tans. Ker went in the water and froze his balls ( dumb ass I did not ( mama didn't raise no fool We pretty much just chilled out the rest of the weekend on our patio with a few drinks.
Low,
Sunday morning the cat decided he was mad at me for not getting up and peed on our bed. We have a brand new memory foam mattress so needless to say we were a bit pissed. There I am at 5 am with my spotbot cleaning the mattress. Lucky for the cat I got it all.
Sunday we found out Ker's step dad was back in the hospital having problems with his pace maker. All is fine though and he is being released today.
Yesterday, we are sitting outside on the swing on our patio and the fabric on the back of the bench seat tears ( a lot). Out comes the duct tape and gorilla glue to see if we can fix it enough to hold through the season till they go on sale and we can buy a new one.
We can't say it was an uneventful weekend that's for sure.
Highs: Went to a reception, drank keg beer, slept in a lot.
Lows: D had a super bad allergic skin reaction to something at said reception. He was so itchy and uncomfortable. Then, my asshole friend took the plans I made weeks ago (Why don't we all go out to the lake and swim and grill and drink?) and bastardized it into what he wanted to do instead with no regard for anyone else (why don't we go sit on the secluded side of the lake in the middle of the night, get eaten by bugs, and, most importantly, watch me fish?), then he acted like a whiny 3 year old when every canceled on him. No one wants to sit around and watch you fish! It's not fun! It actually feels like we're being punished for something, you selfish prick! Thanks for ruining my weekend plans that I set up. F-you.
Morning! I can't believe how fast the weekend went!
Highs: We spent lots of time lounging around. I finished the last two Hunger Games books (In like 8 hours, it was kind of crazy and now I don't know what to do with my time) and I managed to get to lunch yesterday with NO crutch!!
Lows: Yesterday Lucy decided that she was going to eat one of my shrubs in the back yard while I was waiting for her to do her business in the morning before I went back to bed for a while longer. That little bitch got caught red handed eating the shrub and just looked up at me and casually walked over to the grass to lay down. It was like she knew I couldn't go running around after her outside to yell at her...ticked me off!

Yay for no crutches! Sounds like you need an air horn to scare your dog away from the bushes, since you can't get out there in time. That is one reason the only plant in our backyard is a cactus, ours like to eat leaves and stuff, too.

That is such a great idea! I'll stop and get something like that on my way home tonight since so far yelling and threatening her life isn't doing a damn thing for me.
