I know its been asked recently.
we have $190 left in flex spending money. despite DH whining that he wants new glasses, he is now saying he doesn't really need them because they will be 300, so an extra 100+ out of pocket.

Check to see if you have a grace period. I know mine says purchases can be made up to March 15th and must be entered by March 31st
Does your DH wear contacts? Contact solutions count What about a fancy thermometer Blood pressure monitor Pregnancy tests Ovulation predictor tests
I was on Costco's site and searched for FSA and a bunch of things came up I also found a store online called FSAstore.com. I got some ideas from that Google FSA spending and see what comes up
I wouldn't rule out glasses just yet. He could check out online stores. WarbyParker, Coastal, Zennioptical, 39dollarglasses

DH is particular and only likes a certain brand of glasses. I am also particular, not about brand but style so I don't have time to find something acceptable.
I didn't think contact solution was still acceptable, so thats good to know - might be headed to coscto for $190 worth of solution, lol.
or maybe i buy myself a breast pump? although if DH is already freaked by the prenatal vitamins on the counter this could give him a heart attack.

I believe contact solution still is. I was trying to look at DHs 2013 benefits and they had a little tip sheet for how to calculate what you may need and what you could use for what and contact enzyme/lens solution was listed.
We have about $240 to use, but may just go into the extension period. If DH isn't comfortable with that I'll get a BP monitor, first aid kits, contact solution and this touchless thermometer

apparently pregnancy tests are also covered - is there a preferred brand? i have a mix of digital and line kinds, but even then there are multiple brands.
i have never ever actually purchased a pregnancy test before.

If you are trying and are up to charting/temping etc, you may want to check out getting the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor. Costco has a great price on it $129.
As far as PG tests, since you're using your FSA for it, I would just get digital. I've heard First Response Early Results (FRER) are supposed to be good. If you do go the line route, I've heard to stay away from blue, because they can be hard to read and have more evaporation lines.

TTC in spring. i don't know that I plan on charting, but will this do it for me? or only worth it if you chart?

You have to use the sticks to measure the hormone in your system, which will tell you when your fertile days are. Some people just want to go with the flow at first without the pressure of temping or OPKs, but just thought I'd those that out there as an FSA option
