How long does it take for Ebates to show purchase?

I made my first ever purchase through Ebates today--a handbag from ebags.com. Nothing's showing up on my Ebates account indicating that I made the purchase, though. It's been maybe 5 or 6 hours.

Does it sometimes take a while or did I do something wrong?

Okay, thanks. I am a little paranoid because I had a two tabs open for Ebags--I was looking at bags before I remembered to use Ebates and then opened a new tab so I could do my shopping through Ebates. I am positive I used the correct tab though because Ebates filled in a coupon code for me.

I made 2 different purchases from LL Bean a few weeks ago and neither one of them showed up. I was very careful to go through the ebates links, too.

And if it doesn't show up in a few days and you know you clicked. Then fill out the lost ticket email. I got a quick response and they posted really quick after.

My experience is that I get the ebates update once the store showed up as a charge in my Amex. This can happen likely in the next day.

My Amazon stuff took a couple of weeks I think. My Macy's showed up within a day or so.

I ordered something from Dillards on 12/26, the purchase just showed up in Ebates yesterday.

I regularly have purchases that don't show up at all, so after 30 days I contact ebates and they manually credit my acct. Just be sure to save your email order confirmation until you see the credit.

It depends on the store. If it doesn't show a month after the purchase, write them.

I just did this, and they fixed it very quickly.
