We have Liberty Mutual. We had them about 15 months before we had to file a claim. Our basement flooded as a result of Hurricane Irene. Our renewal came up in May and I thought we were going to get dropped, but we didn't and our premium only went up ~$60 for the year.
We have been very pleased with them. They were quick to send out an adjuster and within a week after that we had a check for our damages. I recommend them to anyone looking for a new company. We also have Liberty Mutual for our auto insurance.

We have them too. Great service for both home & auto claims.
Same here. They were fabulous when we filed a claim for car insurance, and I expect nothing less if we have to file a homeowners claim ( fingers crossed we don't)
I work at Farmers. The best route to go is first get a quote from whoever has your auto insurance. I personally have my renters thru Farmers but don't use them for auto insurance. If it seems too high, call another few places, just make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Some insurance companies offer different kinds of coverages.
Some no name place that we got through using USAA as our general agent. USAA won't write policies in our area right now (although I do check back twice a year or so just to see if they have changed their minds). Allstate also isn't writing here unless you have auto coverage through them, but I don't want to leave USAA for that.

This. Except I know that the chances of them writing in Fl ever again is .000000000001%.

Amica. We used to have Liberty Mutual, and we were very happy through an auto claim, but their prices have gone up so much in MN we had to switch. Very happy with Amica so far.
