Our nanny just texted me saying that her mom found her dad on the floor unconscious this morning and he's on a respirator with swelling in his brain. She is 23 and is the sweetest girl ever. Her parents are young and in addition to her sister who is a few years younger they decided to start again and adopted a baby who is now 3. What a terrible way to start the year.
**Her dad passed away last night. It was a very unexpected massive heart attack and it was way too late by the time her mom found him. It is devastating for her and her sister but my heart brakes for her little brother.**

Aw man, this happened to a cardiologist at work last year, but he died pretty much instantly. It generated a lot of conversation at work. Apparently, it's a thing with men. That they can get up to pee, something goes wrong in their brain, they pass out and can die. No other symptoms or anything. Fucking scary.

It is scary! Finding DH dead or in some state like that is one of my biggest fears. That or not being able to help him because he is so much bigger than me.
