Been stuffed up and runny since Thursday, I think. Called Dr last week. They weren't concerned but said if it wasn't gone by mid week to call. Just had to deal with an M freak out.
Was asleep in her crib and woke up crying. Thought I'd put her paci in like normal, no. She didn't want it. I could tell by the sound of her crying that she had sinus in her throat. She was breathing through her mouth. couldn't settle down.
I steamed up the bathroom and held her upright. Then suctioned her nose. I gave her the paci and she took it. I kept her upright against me and shushed and rocked her back to sleep.
I'll have her sleep in her bouncer chair tonight and I'll stay with her. Dr tomorrow.
Poor little thing! Do you have a humidifier/vaporiser? Those are really helpful in the baby room. GL tomorrow, hope it's a quick cold and nothing more.
Poor M. She can't catch a break. Hang in there M & momma. I got these nostril q-tip things (saline filled--you, like, break them open) and used them on C when he had a really stuffy nose. It helped SO much. He freaked out when I'd do it but it seemed to do the most to help him breath. Feel better M.

What brand and where did youdt them? I'd loe to try something new on her nose because it's always running..
I hope M feels better and gets some rest. Hang in there mama!
I got the Simply Saline baby Nasal Swabs at Walgreens. It was with the baby stuff and came in several variations. My only rec is to be careful when you "break" the qtip to get the saline going--I was rough a few times and broke it completely. Whoops!
Poor girl. DD has had 2 colds so far (thanks Kindergarden germs!), and I also steamed up the bathroom and hung out in there for some time and I think it was the biggest help in breaking up the mucous and phlegm. Hopefully the doctor won't think it's anything other than a prolonged cold and she will feel better soon!
