Matilda has taken to doing this recently. She flings herself backwards head first in a dramatic fashion. She's quite strong! The first time she did it I got a fright as I almost lost her! jeez. Now I grip tightly.
But, still, a few times she's done it and managed to bonk her head on things, door frame, table etc. I know it's my fault but it's hard to gauge these things and it's so random.
Yes, Lincoln has always been a back archer. He usually does it when he wants to be put down or when he's tired. But sometimes he just does it randomly because he likes to hang upside down. Babies are weird.
Yes, she was doing this when she was tired and trying to dodge naps or bedtime. It killed my back! Somebody (thadsrad?) suggested the put down, pick up method to try to cut it out at bedtime, and it helped. I only had to do it a couple of days before she went from doing it all.the.time to very occasionally. IDK if it would work as a general thing rather than a sleepy thing, though.

X just recently started doing this too and thinks it's halarious. The first few times I almost dropped him! He swings himself back to hard and unexpected.
Jake does it too. He has smashed his head against the wood part of the glider and he nearly smashed his head into the wall by the changer also. It is something I won't miss once it stops.
