DD has what I assume is cradle cap on the crown of her head. It's scaly dry but kinda soft flakes. Resembles dry boogers somewhat haha. I find myself picking at it constantly.
I've tried CA Baby calendula cream and baby Aquaphor. Neither one did much. Any recs on what will work? It seems like she needs a good exfoliation but I am hesitant with her soft spot and sensitive skin. Am I supposed to leave it alone?

I would rub a little bit of olive oil on DD's scalp and let it sit about 15 minutes before her bath. When I washed her hair, I'd scrub the affected area gently with a wash cloth.
This kept the cradle cap away for a day or two, and then I'd have to repeat the process.
It really isn't anything you need to treat. It's just normal dandruff that you can see since babies have such soft hair and bald heads. My pediatrician said to feel free to use a hat and ignore.
We just use the baby brush on him... brush in different directions to get it all loose. Then wash with our usual lavender shampoo. It's almost all gone these days, although he still gets an occasional flake or two.
