1989 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight Royale Brougham edition (not to be confused with the Delta edition LOL - mom was very proud of her first ever new car, even when it was a decade old and her kid was driving it to school). This exact color way: silver with burgundy.

1990 Bonneville:
COMPLETE with peeling paint on the roof. I flipped it end over end on a gravel road into a ditch. My dad drained the oil off the spark plugs and I drove it for 2 more years. Then, I was driving 2 hours to school and my parents got me a repo'd 1999 Sunfire with a malfunctioning gas gauge that I ran out of gas about a 1 mile from my aunt's house (um, in BFE across a highway, might I add) about 9 p.m. one night. I have never felt my heartbeat in my ears like I did when I was crossing the highway in flip flops and heard dogs barking behind me.

1984 Toyota Celica. Although mine was a blue grey color. The clutch was giving out and I could shift from 2nd to 3rd gear without putting in the clutch
A 1988 Buick LeSabre - my dad wanted me to have a car that was "safe" - aka a Tank. That car was a beast, but damn the ride was smooth! This wasn't MY car, but it was exactly this model and color.
My dad and I sanded it down and he car spray painted it shiny sparkly bright blue. Not like YHL Spray paint, but the paint in the sprayer that you're supposed ot use on cars. But then the trash truck hit my driver-side door a few months later (seriously) and my dad put on a door from another powder blue one, so it didn't match my paint job anymore.
'84 Chevy Cavalier, but she started dying on me and doing weird things whenever I got on the highway and my mechanic yelled at my mom for letting me drive around in a death drap.
So then she got me an '88 Tempo. We should start a club!
1990 Geo Tracker. My mom bought it for me when I got my driver's permit so I could learn on what I was going to be driving. So many memories in that car ....
Well, I don't have an actual picture of my car, but I drove a 1991 stick shift Honda Accord. Loved that car so freaking much! I drove it until it died. Made it 16 years, too.
My first car was a 1979 Toyota Celica. My parents bought it brand new and so it was only about 8 years old when I got it. My mom only used it to drive to work and back so it didn't have very many miles on it.
The photo is not my car but exactly like the one I had except the color of mine was more of a burnt-orange. The saddest thing was that I was in a car accident 6 weeks after getting my drivers license and I totaled it. I was supposed to pick up my dad that day from work after school and I was running late because I had been to an older boys house (a definite NO-NO). I was in a rush and failed to yield at a traffic light. Luckily I wasn't hurt but my car was a mess
My next car that same year was a 1980 Chevy Monte Carlo SS. Again the pic is not my car but exactly the same model but color. Mine was a two-toned copper brown and tan. 8 months after I got it and just 2 weeks before my junior year I was in another accident. It was dark and rainy and even though just blocks from my house I some how managed to lose control of the car and yet totaled yet another car. Oh my poor parents!!
So my third car in less than a year was a 1972 Chevy Impala. My dad decided I needed a POS Tank to drive around in.... Again not a pic of my actual car but the exact model just a different color. Mine was a super faded version of this god-awful ascot blue. I drove this car literally until the tire axle broke in half one night on my way home from work and was sparking down the road as I continued to drive it in total oblivion. I didn't realize my car was "on fire" until I was stopped at a traffic light and someone in the car next to me yelled "your car is on fire." Ahhh good times! Good times!
So at age 20 I bought my first car. It was a 1989 Plymouth Sundance. This is not the actual pic of my car but mine was exactly this model and color. I drove this car until I was 25 After several defensive driving classes thankfully I did become a much better driver

Tarheels! This was my car too! Mine was all silver though. TBH I loved that car and still drove it after college for a bit. It had 300K miles on it and was still ticking. Good gas mileage for the time, safe, not too big and even though it was Grandma Central it was very reliable! Ohh...the memories.
