My OB had paper too. I only had one pants off experience at the birth center when I requested a cervical exam the day before my waters ruptured. I had a blanket I believe.

I normally see my PCP for annuals and all I get is a freaking paper sheet. I wouldn't even call it a blanket because it's like the size of a paper towel. I sit there wondering if I should be covering upstairs or downstairs.

Paper vest? I've never seen these! Now I feel incredibly lucky. Both GYN offices I've been to had/have gowns AND a lap sheet. No wonder I've never understood the hatred of the yearly!
