I was so nervous about the kids sharing a room. But it's been a month now and it's going ok. I'm constantly amazed that DS1 doesn't wake up when the baby cries.
Just now they are down for afternoon nap, and DS2 woke up after 40 mins ^o) so I left him in there to cry which he did for a few minutes and went back to sleep. DS1 slept through it, no problem.
Kids are so resilient, it's amazing. Just wanted to share. Now I hope I'm not jinxing naptime
Yes, we have a playroom right off the kitchen for all their toys & gear, so I can see them when I'm cooking (which is a lot of the time Their bedroom is small - barely fits DS1's king single + the change table + crib, so it's a room JUST for sleeping. Our house is only 3 bedrooms, and we need the 3rd bedroom for DH's wine storage and our home gym. ha.
I was so stressed about it. We will demolish this house and build but not for a couple years.

That's something I would really stress about too, kids are really flexible though, and they probably like having each other there while they snooze. I kind of love that you need a room for wine storage! Even though you probably don't have much Northern California wine, which means you are missing out.
I seriously want to hear all about your house building plans when the time comes. We are considering building, but that is at least 5 years down the road I think.
