Do you go to a specialist Ob/Gyn for your annual exam or just get it at your regular GP? In the past I've gone to my GP because she had been my doctor foreeeeever, but now I have a new doctor and wonder if I should grow up and find a specialist.

I go to a GP. But, I rarely go to the doctor for other things, and I haven't gone at any other time of the year since we moved here.
The reason I go to a GP is because I forgot to make an appointment, and all the specialists were booked. I wasn't going to be able to get a refill of BCP if I waited for a specialist. And now, I've gone to the GP. Anywhere else I'm going to be considered a new patient, and they always seem to make that a hassle.
ob/gyn. I didn't know regular doctors did paps. Plus, I have had issues for the past couple years that usually require follow ups and procedures, so I have to see a specialist at this point anyway.
I go to an OB/GYN. Honestly I like her so much more than my regular doc, who has terrible bedside manners. I'm considering switching to a different doc but it's such a hassle. Anyway, I love my GYN (though I hate going!)
I used to go to an OB/GYN, but had some major issues with my OB/GYN's office a few months ago regarding receiving biopsy results so I now go to my PCP instead.
I go to an OB/GYN. She also does all my blood work, so basically I see her for everything, rather than use a PCP. It's whatever you're comfortable with. I just always saw a GYN because that's what my mom first took me to when I was ready for an exam, then when she retired I wanted my new doc to be one I was comfortable with prior to gettting PG, and the last time I switched was when I moved out of state at 5 months PG so I needed one.
I got a rec for a good OB/MW practice when I moved to the area before I got one for a GP, so I go there. I have a GP, but was kind of unimpressed with them the couple times I went, and haven't kept up regular check ups with them. My OB/MW office basically does a physical at yearly exams anyway, so I don't feel like I'm missing much.

I used to go to the health department. I loved my nurse and gyno there. I just started going to a private practice gyno and hate her. But I have to wait a year to find a new one and I go in for shots every 3 months. Sigh. Once the health department starts taking insurance I will return there.
