For allowing me to poop in solitude. I applaud those of you who restrict screen time, but it's the only thing that will keep Andrew in one place and out of trouble for a few minutes. There are just some days when you can't wait until nap time. . . . .
I had a plan to have no TV til 2. However on the plane recently we discovered that for some reason she loved BARNEY. So we played barney for her, holding the headphones on her ears, three times through. Bought us 45 minutes! was amazing.
I will say that though my stance has always been no screen time until 2, I'm jealous a bit. When I was sick, I tried to put in a show for A, she could care less. Good in general, but is like 24 minutes sometimes
I've given up on the no screen time until 2 rule. Dh has the tv on a lot when I am at work. Luckily he puts a blanket over the screen while he watches/listens to the Dan Patrick show. I figure 5-10 minutes of baby einsteins or Mickey Mouse won't be detrimental. Besides, my kid knows how to turn the pages and enjoys reading books, so it all evens out.
