What to do-paint color no longer exists

We painted our bedroom a few years ago with Olympic paint from Lowes. We took down some shelves and patched to realize we had used the entire can ( and didn't save it). I went to Lowes because I remember the color but it's no longer in their system. I'm not pleased with the idea of repainting my entire room. Do I have any other options? I'm not confident that trying to match it would work. Is there some resource to look up old paint color formulas?

I just lurk here once in a while but I've had Home Depot mix paint colors by formula before, so if you can find it (sorry, no help there) I bet Lowes will do the same.

The other thing to remember is that even if you have the same paint, formula and finish it still might not match due to light fading the walls or just time. When we moved into our house the previous homeowner had touched up using the same exact can of paint and you could still see spots all over the house.

they can't pull it up with the name? that's odd. I had awesome luck with SW matching a color that the previous owners of our house use. I had to cut off a swatch of it to bring it and repatch that then but you cannot even remotely tell it was color matched- I was seriously amazed. I actually took some and put it smack in the middle of the one big wall and when DH came home made him try and guess where I did it- couldn't tell at all. lol- I am really easily impressed clearly
