DD hates the sun in her eyes with a passion, and the shades for the windows do nothing. Is anyone else having this issue? What are you doing about it, if so? I found a sunshade on Amazon but it got crappy reviews, but I'm desperate here and feel like it's worth a shot. Why the hell don't they have sunshades on convertible car seats dammit?!!

You shouldn't add anything to the carseat. Period. I drive a van and my back windows are tinted, so we don't have an issue, but if I was still driving a car I would get the static cling window shades and use those. There isn't much else you can do.
Will she keep a hat on? Mine hates it too, even though we've got the darkest tint legally allowed. Often I'll put a hat on him and then he can tilt his head down to get out of the glare. When we're going on a long trip (on the highway, out of town for example) I'll hang a towel in the window. Klassy.

Yeah my windows are super dark as well, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I got one of the blinds for her window and that also didn't make much of a difference. And no, she freaking hates hats. The towel idea isn't bad, I'll give it a try next time I take a longer trip.
I have this too. It helps a bit but I feel like I need to put a second one on the window to really get good coverage. I wonder if two would fit up and down next to each other?
