Hello! DH and I are starting to think about upgrading our living room furniture. We currently have a love seat that was a floor model from a low grade furniture store and sags in the middle and a couch I picked up from Home Reserve which, while still in decent shape, just isn't working for us anymore. We want to get either a couch or a sectional with a sleeper in it, and either another love seat (if we get the couch) or an armchair (if we get a sectional).
We're willing to put a decent amount of money into it, but I'm not sure what's good quality without overpaying for it. We're not sold on any particular style, we're more focused on comfort to begin with. We're also waiting until the spring to purchase anything, as we want to see how our finances pan out in the next few months (ie., if I get a bonus and how much our tax return will be). Any suggestions?
Flexsteel is also pretty great. Spendy but worth it. My grandma used to sell furniture (up until she died 7 months ago) and she would tell people it was the best of the best while not ridiculously overpriced.
My sofa is flexsteel, seven years old and doesn't show any wear at all. I inherited her Flexsteel wingbacks and they need recovering desperately...but they're as solid and sturdy as they come.
