it shouldn't be painful, but it could be a little sensitive since the dentin is exposed especially when the baby has ice cream or cold drinks. They probably won't do anything for treatment unless it bothers the parents esthetically.
I was just thinking about the sensitivity. I hope it doesn't bother her.
I guess we will have to see how noticeable it ends up being. It's not that it would bother me all that much but I wouldn't want it to be an issue she's concerned about when she becomes school aged.
I couldn't see the top teeth in the 1st pic and thought you were talking about the bottom teeth and how thy are slightly bumpy on the edge. I can definitely see what you are talking about with the 2nd pic. I agree with the dentist. Definitely looks like an enamel malformation. I've seen it a couple of times in my career. They can give you a couple options for treatment. Good luck!
