Tomorrow we're taking the doggie to the vet for her yearly checkup. Then getting my eyebrows waxed, which I haven't done in 3+ years. I want to look nice for all the pictures that will soon be taken of me.
I'm frustrated that Buy Buy Baby called exactly once to tell me the crib and dresser had arrived and never bothered to try again. I called just before Christmas and was told it was not there yet, but apparently, it arrived on the 18th! Nice job guys...

We're going to go through all of our clothes and excess shiz to try and donate/sell some of it and move what we want to keep. We could be done moving this weekend if we tried but I have a big certification test on Monday so I'll probably hole up and study with breaks to watch the football games.
Tomorrow I am trying Stroller Strides for the first time, however when I contacted the woman who runs it she says it's not going to be the usual format. It's going to be Stroller Barre. I'm excited because I like Barre but I'm disappointed because I already take a Barre class on Tuesdays and I wanted to do just Stroller Strides. I'm sure it'll be fine though.
I'm also shopping with my mom tomorrow for B's Christening outfit. Anytime spent with my mom can be either great or of the "i'd like to kill myself" variety. She's been better in recent years but we'll see how tomorrow goes!
The only plan for Sunday is to take down the Christmas tree. That's always a sad day
Can I add a random? I'm going to have to "unlike" Zoya on FB because the new colors look so prettty and there is never a time where I will be able to sit baby-free to let my nails dry
Can you leave the baby with H for awhile on the weekends? I tend to just be like, "hi, I'm going for a pedicure, your turn now" and leave.

Last night I got an email from a man I used to babysit for that said "I always told your mom that you were too smart to stay in real estate, I guess I was wrong."
On a similar note, we might get an offer on our house tomorrow and I'm freaking the fuck out. I'm not even sure that I want to move anymore. I know that I definitely don't want to clean for the showing. Pass a drink...
We're leaving DD with MIL and going OOT tomorrow night! I'm so excited, although I'm a little fearful that DD is not going to sleep all night, and the pumping logistics are frustrating me. Still, I'm going to get to sleep!!
I'm planning to go to the doc to get more granulation tissue burned off (boo!) and then to lunch with friends (yay!), one of whom is annoying the ever loving crap out of me because she's mad that her no-good boyfriend won't propose (boo!). But the lunch comes with free childcare from H (yay!).
I had granulation, too. Doesn't it hurt like crazy when they burn it off?! I walked funny all day.

I could, but I tend to have a lot of "girls only" events that DH has to man up for. For instance, a birthday dinner tomorrow, a sorority reunion coming up, a spa day a few weeks back, plus I'm stuck at work tonight.... He already does all the DC drop offs and pickups, and rarely has plans that don't involve us... I'm totally the slacker parent in this relationship.
H is meeting up with some good friends of ours tonight. I'm jealous bc I want to go, but it's not until after 7 and DS goes to bed then. He started a new DC this week that has been tiring him out so I don't want to force keeping him out later (typically we have some flexibility with his bed time).
So H is going to have awesome beer and duck fat fries without me and I'm upset :-(. He did ask first though and I said it was fine so I can't sulk too much. Lol.
NQB - jealous of the warm weather you're going to be enjoying!
I just found out that they have on-site daycare at the ski resort near us so we're going to try giving that a whirl with the boys tommorrow :) DD will hang with my inlaws.
Then we're planning on brunch with a few friends on Sunday.
I asked DS if he liked to try new foods and he said "Yeah. I like all different kinds of chocolate cake."
Yesterday he was sitting on the toilet and said, "Mommy, I was angry." "You were?" "Yeah." (pauses and looks off into the distance) "That's a story. That's a story about me."
We'll probably go to the science museum and do some sledding this weekend.
Mrs starry. She has a magic baby. I have seen and heard of these magic babies. We must have done something in our past so we dont get a magic baby. I took Layla to baby sign language and the babies were lying down in front of us on yoga mats. One baby just fell asleep on the yoga mat. What!? Magic baby. This was a 4-6 mth old. During the time when L needed to be rocked or walked.
Also, my 14 mth old weighs 27lbs. Not a megababy, but definitely big. We were at the airport and met up with parents of another 14 mth old. The Mother looked terrified when I said L was 14 mths too. Her baby was half her size. I always feel like I have to reassure other parents that their kid is the normal one. And speaking of megababies, I met a 5 mth old that weighs 18lbs.
