I forgot to post over here....Been a little exhausted these last few days!

I had a baby!

My story was pretty quick luckily! My water broke around midnight (35+6 weeks pregnant) on Sunday evening. I called L&D, let them know and they told me to come in to be admitted. We got admitted to our room around 2:30am. I had just started to get contractions when we got to the hospital but they felt like period cramps at their worst. Then around 7am I started getting hard and fast contractions that were about 1.5-2minutes apart. I had some back labor with them, and sitting on the excercise ball with my husband massaging my back didn't help. I got checked at 9am and was dialated to 3cm and fully effaced. Sometime between 11 and noon I was ready for the epidural since I couldn't get a break with how fast they were. They checked me right after the epi was placed and I was dialated to 8.5. By then I was feeling great and relaxed. They checked me again at 1:45 and I was at 9.5, and started pushing at 2:00.

Julia Lynn was born at 3:10, she was 6lbs 9oz and 19 3/4 inches long. She's absolutely perfect with no concerns for her early arrival. We got home last night and I'm feeling great too. My husband was expecting me to be in miserable pain so he's pleasantly surprised! She's having a little trouble latching on the breast, so feeding takes a little long but other than that she's amazing. I can't believe how easily you can fall in love with someone you just met!!
