I plan to help my H organize his old military gear into giant tupperware bins which we will store on a giant metal shelving system. Soo.... I can PIP that. If you want.

We have some of those up in our attic. H won't let me toss them.
I'll PIP tomorrow. H is building a new closet system for our master bedroom, and he is doing it from scratch with pipes and wood. It should be done tomorrow! (It BETTER be done tomorrow, I'm really sick of having all my clothes piled up elsewhere and its all going to have to be iron after being stacked or shoved somewhere for 3 weeks)

We need to do this with DW's hockey gear.
I can't wait to PIP my next two organizing projects - the freezer and the craft area. Not sure either one is happening this weekend though.
I promised pictures. Unfortunately, it's a closet. Even organized it looks messy lol
This was a walk-in with a single bar and shelf around three sides. Now we have two sections of stacked bars, one long hanging area, and lots of shelves. I'm not liking the bins on the shelves as much as I hoped.
Oooh, Ruby, I love the industrial look of the industrial look of the pipes.
Thanks! It was H's idea after seeing pictures online.
If I had it to do over again, I would have bought the $1200 system I was contemplating. This was about $500, but I've been without a closet for 3 weeks. I was about to go crazy.

I just cleaned out our downstairs hall closet and threw away a bunch of random boxes that were in there. It looks so much better. I was really hoping that would inspire me to start on one of my many other organizing projects, but it has not.
He did. Bent the pipe, threaded the pipe, pieced it together. But he does it for work, so he is pretty good at it. I know he borrowed the pipe threader from work. I don't know if the bender is his or his boss's. Sad.
It's pretty damn awesome, even if it did take forever. I'm a bit sad bc it fits everything except two suitcases. But he probably still deserves a little something something tonight.
love your closet. I organized my linen closet. My problem is I have a hard time getting rid of old meds..I mean really, some of that shit was like 5 years old. Like I would really take cough syrup from that long ago?!?!? But I hang on to it. This time I threw it all out.
bncha - I missed your pic! Awesome! I love fabric. I love any sort of pretty, stacked fabrics. But yours looks especially nice!
sillyme - I hear you. My rule is generally about 3 years lol I finally bought some new neosporin b/c it was from the last decade, and I think 2 houses ago. But nothing beats my coworker who gave me motrin from 2001! I convinced her to just toss it.

This is awesome. I may need to figure this out and do it for my closet!
Moving the guest room - switching it upstairs so we can have our gym "room" downstairs. Organizing the office and the boy's clubhouse under the stairs. Re-doing the boy's bathroom and one of our downstairs bathrooms. Decor, only. Switching a toilet out in a third bathroom.
Getting rid of toys and books the boys have grown out of.
