I've been up since around 4 because I had to use the bathroom. Now I'm hungry. I'm trying to ignore it, but dammit I want some food. Gah!
If you wake up hungry at night, do you ignore it?
Well, I'm going to go get something to eat. I hope I won't regret this in 2wks. Just thinking about someone's post about gaining 15lbs in 2wks. (telling self) "No, that's not gonna happen to me."
Not normally, but these days, I go from hungry to nauseated pretty quickly if I don't eat a little something. I have a small stash of oyster crackers at hand.
I'm one of those people who does have a decent increase in appetite when pregnant. Several time I woke up in the middle of the night starving.
Normally I eat a bowl of cereal for breakfast when I get to work. Lately I've gotten out of bed M-F and gone right down to the kitchen for food. So unlike me.
I always made sure to eat right before bed because I hated getting up for food.
I often have a glass of milk before bed. Sure I have to get up and use the bathroom, but it does curb hunger through the night, and keep me from waking up feeling parched/wanting water.

Yup, I eat when I'm hungry. Whether pregnant or not. Not to say I polished off a cake or something, but pb and crackers, some cheese, a granola bar were all things you could see me consume at 3 am

I kept snacks in the bedside table drawer. I often woke up at 2 or 3am hungry (heck, it happens from time to time even when I'm not pregnant). I cannot fall back asleep hungry, and if I went to the kitchen and made myself a snack I'd have a hard time falling back asleep.
Ditto to the granola bar and water next to bed. Water often did the trick, but then of course I had to pee. Although, ambling 5 steps to our attached bathroom is a lot easier than going down 2 flights of stairs to the kitchen!
