Today we're taking down our tree and all the decorations. I am actually sad about it... I did buy some flower bulbs in pots for indoors. It'll be so bare though.
Chucking it out the window does sound like loads of fun.Did your neighbors mind? Our neighbor was chucking blocks of broken up concrete of the roof two days ago...
I tossed ours out the third story window on the 27th.
It. was. awesome.
This would be me if we lived on the 3rd floor. I am usually really excited for the decorations and tree to go up, but by the time Christmas is over, I'm just as ready for them to come down. Tree pick-up in my town is always the Saturday after Epiphany, though, so this year it's really late on the 12th. Until then, everything's staying up.

We just sent ours out to the chipper today. Was happy to take it down.
Great Christmas but I am now in when will I have this freak'n baby mode. Was worried it would arrive this weekend and we would miss the two days when the chipper was coming by. We would totally be the people with the needleless Christmas tree in our living room in March.
Our tree came down last Wednesday. Mainly because we were moving house and it was in the way. DH wanted to take it down on the 31st and I wouldn't let him - I wasn't staying in that night and not have a tree to glance at...
We took everything down yesterday. It suddenly feels empty here, but we'll be used to that again in 2 days. I always try not to give in to the urge of buying plants/other things to fill the void the tree left, but it's hard
The SO wanted to take it down yesterday but I talked him into having it up a little longer. I like to leave it up through the Orthodox Christmas Day even though I am not Orthodox. It'll come down in the next day or two. :-(
