I have heard frozen custard can be dicey, since it's made with egg yolks.
I also ate some two weeks after my BFP. Frozen custard is AWESOME, yo.
Same with gelati right? DH told me I shouldn't have any the other day. He's a super worrier though.
According to Wikipedia, gelato is just soft ice cream with little to no air. There are egg yolks in some flavors - "Egg yolks are used in yellow custard-based gelato flavors, including zabaione and creme caramel, and non-fat milk solids are also added to gelato to stabilize the base."
